About this product
A window cleaning robot rated at 5600Pa of suction, with an automatic dual spray, edge detection and a remote for steering it across the pane. It targets the chore nobody wants: the outside of windows on upper floors, and large panes where a squeegee leaves streaks and you cannot comfortably reach around the frame. The dual spray wets the glass as it travels, the edge detection is there to stop it running off the pane, and the remote lets you correct its path without going near the opening. Three things the offer does not state, and that you should confirm with the seller, are the glass thickness and types it can work on, whether it runs on an internal battery or mains power, and what safety tether comes in the box — on a high floor the safety line is not a detail worth assuming.

Pros & cons
Pros
- 5600Pa of suction holds the body against the pane while it works
- Automatic dual spray wets the glass, so it is not dry-wiping the surface
- Edge detection is designed to keep it from running off the pane
- Remote control lets you correct its path from inside the room
Cons
- Glass thickness and types it can work on are not stated — check before buying
- Battery or mains power is not specified, which matters on upper floors
- What safety tether is supplied should be confirmed with the seller
- Raised putty, seals or insect screens on the glass will stop it working
