About this product
When one corner of the house, a garden office or an upstairs room keeps dropping to a single bar, a repeater is usually the cheapest fix: it takes the Wi-Fi you already have and re-broadcasts it closer to where you actually sit. This FENVI unit is a dual-band AX1500 (Wi-Fi 6) extender covering 2.4GHz for reach and 5GHz for speed, configured through the normal web or app wizard. Results depend almost entirely on placement — it has to stand where the main router signal is still solid, roughly halfway between the router and the dead zone, not inside the dead zone itself. Because it repeats the same network name, phones and laptops should hand over automatically, although older devices sometimes cling to the weaker signal. The Wi-Fi 6 advantages only show if your main router is Wi-Fi 6 too.

Pros & cons
Pros
- Dual band 2.4GHz and 5GHz covers both long reach and faster short-range use
- Wi-Fi 6 (AX1500) spec means it will not be the bottleneck if your main router is also Wi-Fi 6
- Set up with the standard wizard, so there is no separate controller or extra gear to buy
Cons
- A repeater roughly halves throughput on the band it repeats, so it fixes coverage rather than slow speeds
- Placement decides whether it works at all: it must sit where the router signal is still solid, not inside the dead zone
