3M R8-39G purifier cartridge set: matching every stage to your model before you order

This is the cartridge set for the 3M R8-39G reverse-osmosis purifier, sold through the brand's own storefront. The set covers the filtration stages, so confirm your machine is exactly the R8-39G and not a sibling model with a different cartridge layout before ordering. Cartridge life depends on feed-water quality and household usage, and a drop in flow rate or a change in taste is the usual signal to replace. Suits households already running the R8-39G; if you are unsure which generation your purifier is, take a photo of the label and confirm with the seller.

Doulton 2504 in M12UCC: what 0.2 micron means on a ceramic candle, and when it is worth replacing

Ceramic candles are the reason some households keep a Doulton filter running for years: unlike a sealed block, the ceramic body can be taken out and scrubbed, so the surface is renewed instead of thrown away. This listing is the 2504 cartridge, described as 0.2 micron and as original stock imported from the United Kingdom. The number to match is the one on the candle already in your housing, and this listing gives two: 2504 and M12UCC. Write both down and compare them with what is printed on the part you are replacing, because a 2504 from another series will not thread onto the same filter head, and the head decides which one you need. Two more things to check before paying: whether your unit holds one candle or two, and the state of the rubber seal, since a hardened seal leaks no matter how good the cartridge is. What 0.2 micron tells you is the particle size the ceramic body is rated to hold back; it says nothing about taste and nothing about how often it should be cleaned. Ceramic is cleaned rather than scheduled, so the signal is practical: when the flow drops and scrubbing no longer brings it back, it is done. Listed at 577 yuan, with annual sales around 3,000 units.
