This is a composite replacement cartridge for A.O. Smith undersink drinking-water units sold in the Blue Whale series. A composite cartridge bundles more than one filtration stage into a single body, so it does the job of several cartridges at once and is usually changed as one unit - which is convenient, but also means the housing has to be the right one. The part number printed on your machine or on the old cartridge is the whole answer here: Blue Whale covers several body sizes and connections, and two cartridges from the same series will not necessarily swap. A second thing to check is the change interval, since rated capacity is quoted in litres or months and depends on your incoming water quality. If you cannot find the number, photograph your existing cartridge and the inside of the housing and send both to the seller.
